Research

Clara graduated with a BA in environmental studies from Dartmouth College in 2009. She is interested in hydrology and currently studies how GPS multipath signals can be used to infer near-surface soil moisture content. Her work combines computer modeling of surface reflections from GPS satellites and field measurements of soil moisture and vegetative biomass.
